OKEMOS, MI — In celebration of her 7-year Anniversary, serving clients in the Greater Lansing area, Venus Personal Image Salon owner, Jenny Pham, will offer hair and beauty services for men and women on February 14th, 2011, on a donation only or ability to pay basis. This special celebration will also feature the award-winning Michigan author, J.R. Armstrong of Fowlerville. Ms. Armstrong has received the Foreword Review award for best new novel in the romance category for her book, “Owe It To The Wind”. She has also just released the sequel, “Truly Everything”.
Ms. Armstrong will be in the salon from 12-2pm to sell and sign her books.
The salon, located inside the Meridian Mall in Okemos, offers a full array of hair and beauty services, including haircuts, highlighting, eyebrow waxing, and the popular Brazilian Blow-Out Hair Treatment for women.
“I want to make these services affordable as a way of giving back to the community I have been serving for the past 7 years,” said Pham. “On this special Valentine’s Day, I want everyone to be beautiful on the outside and the inside.”
