According to Mayor Virgil Bernero, Hannan is receiving treatment.
Hannan was arrested by Lansing police officers on Thursday, September 21, 2006, for driving while intoxicated.
A press release issued from the Lansing Police Department stated that Mayor Bernero suspended Hannan without pay.
