News Spotlight: Robbery at PNC Bank Earlier Today

On  March 4, 2014,  at approximately 11:00 a.m. Lansing Police were dispatched a bank Robbery at the PNC bank in the 1700 block of W. Mt. Hope. Responding Officers were informed by Ingham County dispatch that a lone suspect had just robbed the bank and left on foot.

 
Officers made contact with bank employees and determined the following:
Suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, indicated he had a weapon, and demanded money. Suspect obtained money and quickly exited the bank on foot (West direction). No bank employee(s) were injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as:
 
Medium completion black male, small in build (5’5”) approximately 30 years old wearing a navy blue stocking hat, navy blue puffy jacket (red Nike on chest), blue jeans and sun glasses.
 
Lansing Police and K9 attempted to track the suspect from the bank. The track ended nearby and it appears the suspect may have entered a vehicle.
 
Lansing Police ask the public for help identifying this suspect. Do not attempt to make contact with this suspect, he may be armed.
