On Friday, March 7, 2014 at approximately 6:34 a.m. Lansing Police were dispatched to a robbery at Walgreens in the 400 block of E. Jolly. Store employee advised dispatch the suspect in the robbery had just left the store walking in a North direction.
Responding Officers made contact with store employee(s) and learned the following:
Male suspect entered the store, obtained an item to purchase and approached the counter. Employee rang the item into the cash register, suspect gave money for purchase. As the cash register opened the suspect reached and grabbed money from the drawer. The suspect then left the store with the money. No employee was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as (see attached photo):
White male with shoulder length dark hair, brown eyes, approximately 30 years old, 180 lbs. 5’10” to 6’1” in height. Wearing light blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
