At approximately 2:27 p.m. Lansing Police were dispatched to a robbery (Subway) in the 2800 block of E. Saginaw.
Upon arrival, officers make contact with business employees. Officers discover the suspect left prior to their arrival. Officers investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, approached the counter, indicated to the employee he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect was given money and quickly left the business. No employee was hurt during or after the robbery.
Officers along with a Police K9 attempted to track the travel of the suspect, however were unsuccessful locating him. It appears the suspect ran North from the business and may have entered a parked vehicle on Merrill Ave.
The suspect is described as a black male with dark complexion, 5’7” to 5’8” medium build wearing a blue “Michigan” sweatshirt and a camo “M” hat. (see attached picture of the suspect)
