New Lansing Satellite Campus Offers Programs Designed for Busy Adults!

Founded in 1941, Cornerstone University has built a solid reputation for excellence in education.  The main campus in Grand Rapids located off East Beltline Avenue NE just across from the Frederik Meijer Gardens offers both traditional and non-traditional degree programs.

For over six decades, Cornerstone University has helped students enhance their careers and achieve academic excellence while learning from a Christian worldview.  In 1993, Cornerstone University created the Professional & Graduate Studies (PGS) division to provide accelerated business degree completion programs for working adults.

Since then, in addition to the main Grand Rapids campus, professional adult programs have expanded to include three satellite locations in Kalamazoo, Lakeshore/Zeeland and now in Lansing.

The Professional & Graduate Studies programs are designed for busy professionals with full time work, families and other responsibilities.  Classes meet just one night a week from 6pm-10pm, the same night of the week throughout the program.   Students only register once for the entire program.  Classes are taken one subject at a time in an accelerated format and programs can be completed in as little as 18-22 months!  Financial Aide is available to those who qualify; most students utilize financial aide options.  The program format has allowed people to overcome common obstacles that are faced for degree completion such as convenience, cost and flexibility.

Cornerstone University Professional & Graduate Studies (PGS) offers the following programs in an accelerated format:

o    Associate of Science in Business Studies
o    Bachelor of Science in Management
o    Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
o    Blended Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership
o    Master of Arts in Education
o    Master in TESOL
o    Master of Science in Management

Are you an employer? A recent survey shows that 94% of chief financial officers surveyed agreed that it’s important for companies to invest in the education of their employees.  In our programs employees learn practical business skills that they actually can use the next day on the job.  We offer services for employers such as “lunch and learns”, informal staff meeting presentations, bagel breaks, “doughnuts at dawn” and more to provide information and answers to employee questions in a “down to earth” informal manner.

Motivational gurus tell us that the key to achieving goals is envisioning the end result.  So if earning your degree is something you have always wanted to do, imagine positioning yourself to increase your competitive edge for career advancement.  Imagine learning while connecting and building relationships with working adults like yourself, imagine the satisfaction of walking across a stage in cap and gown to the applause of your family and friends.  Imagine motivating and encouraging others to continue on with their education, your children, grandchildren, co-workers, family, and/or friends.  Imagine your testimony as a busy adult graduate!
