When did you stop believing? Okay, maybe I should rephrase that question to be more specific. When did you stop believing in miracles? What happened to cause you to lose your God-given ability to believe in miracles?
Listen to me. Every day that you’re blessed to open your eyes is a miracle. When you witness the rising and setting of the sun, you’ve seen a miracle.
When a vibrant rainbow can be clearly seen for many miles, that’s a miracle that God wanted to share with you.
To see the birth of your child(ren) as they come into the world, full of the spirit of God shining on their face for all the world to witness is a miracle.
What about the time when death was knocking at your door or the door of a loved one? God stepped in and it wasn’t time. There have been countless times that you were in danger and God moved you out of harms way. You may or may not have been aware that it was a miracle. Miracles are big and small.
Perhaps the reason that you stopped believing in miracles is because you have gotten too far away from the source of the power of miracles.
You know that you cannot feel the warmth of the sun if you’re always in the dark. There’s no substitute for God’s love.
So the next time you wonder about miracles and where they went or what one looks like, take a look in the mirror. You are a miracle. Believe it.
Remember to keep the faith, trust in God only and seek after a pure heart. God will be pleased.
