Midwest Bus Corporation, an Owosso, MI, UAW based, transit bus remanufacturer that also provides aftermarket replacement parts, used bus sales, bus leasing, and field services to the transit industry, announces that it is hosting a job fair for persons looking for manufacturing work. The event will take place on May 23rd from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at its headquarters, 1940 W. Stewart St. in Owosso.

LANSING, MI – Chong-Anna Canfora filed for the race for the Lansing City Council 4th Ward seat today, submitting nominating petitions with 150 signatures from neighbors in the ward.

On Sunday, May 5, 2013 at approximately 1:50 a.m. Lansing Police were in the area of E. Michigan and Larch St. and were flagged down by an employee of a Rum Runners. The employee stated he was having trouble with a patron.
