EAST LANSING, MI – Can Grandma’s Wi-Fi router alert you that it’s time to check on her?
A grant from the National Science Foundation will allow Michigan State University to explore whether home Wi-Fi systems can preserve the privacy of our aging loved ones while detecting abnormal events in their homes.
If you are at least 60 years of age, are physically unable to attend the polls without the assistance of another, or meet one of the other requirements under state law, you are entitled to vote by absentee ballot. The Michigan Department of Corrections is searching for prisoner Johnny Rodgers after he was mistakenly released from the Oakland County Jail at 6:03 p.m. August 24.
Rodgers, 25, is 6 feet tall and about 187 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his arms, face, neck and chest.

EAST LANSING, MI –Condescending comments, put-downs and sarcasm have become commonplace in the politically charged workplace, and a new study co-authored by a Michigan State University business scholar shows how this incivility may be spreading.
