Michael McKissic II was murdered on August 1, 2015. The case is unsolved. Natasha Hall, his sister, received a photo with his image added. Hall stated that the photo is perfect because she feels that he is always with her. Also children pictured from left to right are Aiyana Hall (daughter), Amiyah Morris (niece) and Gervon Hall (son).
During the month of April 2016, Ingham County is offering amnesty on Friend of the Court bench warrants. Amnesty applies to warrants from Failure to Appear, or Failure to Comply with a Court Order for non-payment of support.

Ingham County Prosecuting Attorney arrested
On March 13, 2016 at approximately 1:00A.M. Lansing Police Officers were patrolling the area of Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge, 6810 S. Cedar, preparing for anticipated crowd and traffic control due to a large event at the club. Hundreds of patrons were present at the Club where a music artist was performing.
On March 10, 2016 at approximately 8:30 pm, Lansing Police responded to the 800 blk of Cawood near Oakland on a report that a woman had been shot. Officers located and attended to a 23 yr old Lansing woman who sustained a gunshot wound to her midsection. Lansing Fire responded and transported the woman to an area hospital where she was treated and remains in non-life threatening condition.
