The Lansing Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents a free mental health workshop for all, on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan. The workshop will focus on education and awareness of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, bipolar disorder and many others.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Robert Robinson Taylor, believed to have been both the first African-American graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the nation’s first academically trained black architect was inducted into the Postal Service’s Black Heritage Stamp series today as the 38th honoree. His great granddaughter, White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett joined Postmaster General Megan Brennan in dedicating the stamp.

LANSING, MI – The Lansing/East Lansing Chapter of Links will celebrate Women’s History Month by hosting its 5th annual White Rose Gala on Thursday, March 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Huntington Club (Overlooking Spartan Stadium), on the campus of Michigan State University.
