Until I had my son and went through all the obstacles we did trying to make sure he got the best education possible, I had no clue what accommodations can be made for someone with a mental illness and/or learning disabilities. I kept this in mind when, old lady that I am, I enrolled in college for the first time this summer. Sure, I probably don’t need a cool down room or scheduled snacks, but I knew there are certain accommodations I could benefit from. And the best part is, so can you!
The Lansing Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation invites golfers to the 2nd Annual Stuart J. Dunnings, Jr. Golf Classic on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Wheatfield Valley Golf Club in Williamston located at 1600 Linn Road.
Stuart J. Dunnings’ legacy includes a more than 50-year successful law practice, representing all walks of life. He was also a strong advocate for civil rights and an avid golfer.

CHATTANOOGA, TN – It may sound strange but we came here to drive Volkswagen’s 2012 Passat midsize sedan. The reason VW picked this venue is because the German automaker recently built a plant here that will assemble roughly 150,000 Passats annually.
DEWITT, Mich.—Contestants are being sought to participate in America’s favorite singing talent showcase, Hometown Idol, scheduled to take place 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, during the DeWitt Ox Roast at the Downtown DeWitt Main Stage.
Oh Baby! Social Security’s website has a list of the 1,000 most popular boys’ and girls’ names for 2009 and a list of the top 100 names for twins born in 2009. The website also offers lists of baby names for each year since 1880.
In 2011, we may find the name Pippa or Jayden on the top ten list of popular baby name. The Social Security Administration compiles names annually and recently announced the most popular baby names in Michigan for 2009.
How does Michigan compare to the rest of the country? Olivia and Jacob topped the list. Nationally, Isabella and Jacob were the most popular baby names.
