I was curious about them and how they managed to stay in my closet because I am very good at getting rid of clothes that don’t fit or compliment me. Well I tried the pants on and they fit. Surprise, Surprise. Actually let me make a correction here. The pants didn’t fit in the sense of how I like my clothes to fit but I was able to get them up and on me and even button them.

There are all sorts of newfangled websites that can teach you a thing or two — some with nifty videos and others with PowerPoint presentations. Call me old school, but I think one of the easiest and most economical ways to learn is by reading a book.

Dear Readers,
What can I say except that it has been an interesting 10 years. I remember going into labor with Amir, my now 8 year old, at the CATA bus station downtown. It was right after my oldest, Gianni, was in at play at the Boarshead Theater for Young Peoples College, a summer program at Lansing Community College. I decided that after the play was over that I was going to go to the CATA bus station to deliver my last bit of newspapers. I just happened to go into labor as soon as I dropped the papers off.
