The object of our affection is education or the access to education. It is the key to the gateway of life. We as Americans have fought, slaughtered, and shivered for the access to education. Sometimes we get confused and view education as a privilege rather than a right. In so many ways we have taken for granted that which is necessary for the future growth of our world, our economy, and our lives.

As I sit down to write this article, I am feeling pressure to get it done. So I am going to change my topic and talk about how I am feeling and try to understand why!
First, I do not like this feeling. It is very unpleasant. My guess is that very few people enjoy being under pressure. The bad thing about this problem (procrastination) is that you can not blame or put it off on someone else, as much as I would love to say that I am so busy, or the children are the problem.

What could they possibly be doing I thought to myself. I half had the mind to tell the guy on the phone that I had to go. But he was at the good part…. he was telling me that big office supply stores were giving out free cartridges but there was a catch.
In the background I heard, “Put your feet in, put your feet in. Come on, you’re taking too long.”
I had to remind myself the next time I get on the faxphone to make sure the cord was not a twisted mess, this multitasking business was not working out…
