EAST LANSING, MI — Thomas S. Gunnings, Ph.D. gathered a small group of psychology professionals in the basement of his home to outline his vision. Gunnings envisioned a clinic to serve those who were underserved, disenfranchised and generally neglected by the mainstream while still providing services to conventional clients.

EAST LANSING, MI — From jazz to rock to music therapy, the Michigan State University Community Music School (CMS) offers summer camps that appeal to a range of interests. Youth can select from five different camps. All are now open for registration.

Huh? This was a rant in progress, but I wasn’t sure why she was venting it at me – well, yes I was. Something I wrote – a column bashing the “English First” movement in Green Bay, Wis. – had set her off, and now she was spilling her two cents’ worth on immigration and foreigners into the phone. The Loan Modification Scam Prevention Network, led by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and NeighborWorks America, today announced a national campaign to prevent loan modification scams through public education, complaint reporting and coordination with local, state, and federal enforcement agencies.
